I have lived in The Lake District all my life and my entire career has involved working with people. I have worked in sales, nursing and finally became a Primary School Teacher ten years ago.

I have always been fascinated by people and the diversity of their lives.  I became interested in photography, six years ago, after the birth of my first son. Initially people who had seen my work began asking me to take their photograph. Today, I have a fully established Portrait Business and I have recently started taking bookings for weddings.

I use natural light to shoot my images to reveal individuality and truth. Therefore my Lifestyle Portrait Sessions are carried out exclusively in a location chosen by the client or myself. The chosen surroundings then influence my photography, so unlike studio portraits, the same experience cannot be recreated, which makes every portrait unique.
